Vampires, werewolves and demons from Space

Space is topping up its Sunday night line-up with The Dresden Files later this month, hoping viewers will take interest in solving supernatural crimes.

The Dresden Files, based on the best-selling Jim Butcher novels, is set for a Canadian premiere on Chum Television’s Space channel on Jan. 21 at 9 pm ET / 6 pm PT, nestled between the Sunday night season premieres for Stargate Atlantis and Battlestar Gallactica. Leading the show’s cast is Paul Blackthorne (24) as private detective Harry Dresden – the only wizard who advertises in the Chicago Yellow Pages and backs up the Chicago Police Department for cases involving demons, vampires, werewolves. The cast also includes Valerie Cruz (Nip/Tuck, Invasion), Terrence Mann (Broadway’s Les Miserables, Beauty and the Beast), and Conrad Coates (The Sentinel).
