GOLTV targets BC soccer audiences
Canada's only 24-hour net devoted to soccer has some multiplatform marketing in mind with an exclusive rights deal for reaching fans in Western Canada.
GOLTV Canada may be the key to reaching soccer fans in BC for the next three years. The specialty net, owned by Toronto-based Insight Sports, announced a multi-tiered marketing and broadcast sponsorship with the British Columbia Soccer Association yesterday.
The deal, valued at $500,000, gives GOLTV the ability to market directly to the association’s 120,000-plus active members. Games and sponsor exposure will hit multiple platforms – on-air, mobile and online at www.GOLTV.ca. An instructional DVD is also in production and will go out to all BCSA members upon sign-up.
