To give its office makeover contest added oomph, G&T worked with CTV to create four 'Office of the Future' segments for the early morning talk show.
Yesterday, Toronto-HQ’d Grand & Toy jumped into the ongoing makeover craze by launching a contest aimed at Canada’s small business sector. With creative from Publicis, PR from APEX Public Relations and media buys by AOR Media Management (all based in Toronto), G&T’s contest is being supported by national promotional spots on CTV across Canada for the next four weeks, plus page-width horizontal banner ads in the Globe and Mail.
But the greatest number of eyeballs will likely be attracted to the contest by the four ‘Office of the Future’ segments skedded to appear on Canada AM and sponsored by Grand & Toy. The office supplies company’s makeover contest prompted CTV to prepare features on some of the most futuristic small business offices in the country.
Grand prize for the ‘Your Amazing New Office’ contest, which runs Jan. 29-March 11, is a $20,000 makeover encompassing everything from décor to electronic equipment and website design. Three secondary makeover prizes of $7,500 will be awarded in Western Canada, Atlantic Canada and Ontario. As well, 30 random instant-win prize packs worth over $770 each will be given out, along with differing prize packs including such items as digital cameras, wireless headsets, CD storage discs and DVDs.
