OMD and SMV again get top marks in 2006 Gunn Report on media creativity

By shining a spotlight on media innovation for the past three years, the report aims to inspire a higher quality media product around the world.

In its third annual rankings, the Gunn Report – which examines the most awarded campaigns, agencies and advertisers at media competitions worldwide (including Cannes Media Lions, FIAP, IPA, the Clios and the Effies) – today gave top honours for creativity to OMD and SMV. Both agencies enjoyed the same ranking last year.

As Agency of the Year, OMD scored 206 points, while runner-up Starcom MediaVest earned 116 points. In third place with 107 points is MindShare. ZenithOptimedia came in fourth with 95 points.
