HD Networks schedule Nip/Tuck

CTV has added the fourth season of Nip/Tuck to its weekend schedule and, as a perk, to its broadband site.

The fourth season of Nip/Tuck – the often-shocking series about a pair of plastic surgeons – will air on CTV’s main network in two different time slots starting March 3 – Saturdays at 10:00 pm in Alberta and Atlantic Canada, and Sundays at 10:00 pm in the rest of the country. The odd scheduling is due to the show’s graphic content which, if simulcast, would put it on air uncomfortably early out west, says a network spokesperson.

Fifteen episodes of the one-hour show have been skedded, and each new episode will be posted on CTV’s broadband site on Monday mornings.

The FX series replaces Law & Order: Criminal Intent in Alberta and on the east coast, and Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, which is now on hiatus, in the rest of the country. The scheduling leaves CTV with a formidable Sunday lineup, which also includes The Amazing Race and Desperate Housewives.
