Cannes trip slated for big winner at 2007 Extra Awards
Honours for creative excellence in daily newspaper advertising will be handed out in Toronto July 24-25.
Hosted by the Canadian Newspaper Association, the 2007 Extra Awards, which honour creative excellence in daily newspaper advertising, will take place in Toronto July 24-25. Grand prize for ‘Best in Show’ will be a trip for two to the 2008 Cannes Festival.
Headed by co-chairs Hylton Mann, associate CD, Juniper Park, Toronto, and Luc Du Sault, VP creative, lg2 Québec, this year’s judging panel consists of: Alex Bernier (copywriter, Sid Lee, Montreal); Jean Christian Bizier (art director, Bos Montréal); Shawn King (CD, Extreme Group, Halifax); Paul Little (CD, TBWA Vancouver); Mark Mason (VP/associate CD, BBDO Toronto); Andrew Morgan (freelance copywriter, Montreal); and Denise Rossetto (associate CD, DDB Toronto).
