Evian bows classy new bottle
The goal is to find a place for itself on the tables of upscale eateries.
Declaring its sleek new Palace Bottle ‘an elite hydration experience,’ Evian Natural Spring Water began rolling out a luxury version of its trademark packaging in Canada last week. Aimed at select hotels, restaurants and clubs throughout the country, the new bottle ‘has been designed to represent the modern vision of Evian while maintaining a strong tie to our heritage in the French Alps,’ says Evian Canada brand manager Michael Thouin.
Details are still under wraps, but print ads for English- and French-language trade magazines across Canada – developed by Evian’s AOR, NYC-based Euro RSCG Worldwide – will break later this month. Cossette Communications is doing the media buys, and Toronto’s Maverick PR is handling publicity.
