Fashion site targets women with interactive content
A new Toronto-based celebrity fashion site called LiveDress.com aims to target women with interactive content. It comes from the creator of TheSoko.com, 24-year-old Jonathan Davids.
LiveDress.com aims to engage the fashion-conscious female demo with interactive features such as the Fashion Faceoff and Steal Her Style, which lets users browse a slide show, leave comments and rate the best-dressed celebs. Video and social networking features will be added to the site in the coming months.
Marketing opps for the site include banner ads, contesting, product integration, ads embedded into slide shows, sponsored video and pre-roll ads. Current advertisers include Lavalife and Herbal Essences.
