Canwest and Rogers name sales reps
Canwest Broadcast Sales EVP Errol Da-Ré announced yesterday who exactly will be reporting to him under the umbrella of a new sales leadership team, following the CRTC’s recent approval of Canwest’s acquisition of Alliance Atlantis assets.
Catherine Bridgman, SVP marketing ventures, will continue to create unique selling propositions for specialty and digital assets, including multi-platform custom campaigns for advertisers in Canada and the US.
Kathy Gardner, SVP integrated media research and corporate promotions, will continue to be responsible for all research surrounding Canwest’s television and online assets. She will also manage Canwest’s publishing research and media strategy teams.
Jennifer Holgate, VP digital sales, will manage both sales strategy and process for digital, including distribution, marketing and content integration and implementation for Canwest Interactive Sales.
Brad Kubota, SVP revenue and inventory management, will focus on identifying, developing and driving revenue-generating strategies for Global, E! and the 21 specialty channels across Canwest Broadcasting. He will also oversee the former Alliance Atlantis Traffic department. He will harmonize the roles of RM and IM with the objectives of the sales team and help deliver creative and innovative products and solutions for clients.
Lori Legault, VP national sales, will maintain her role overseeing approximately 50% of the national ad sales teams in the integrated Canwest Broadcasting.
Greg McLelland, VP national sales, will now oversee approximately 50% of the national ad sales teams in the integrated Canwest Broadcasting. McLelland was previously VP of the Synergy Integrated Group at Alliance Atlantis and was responsible for on-air, online, host integration, product placement, network integration, contests and sponsorships.
Canwest Broadcasting has yet to announce a VP local and regional sales.
Also yesterday, Rogers Media announced that Marco Mezzaluna and his team will represent the advertising sales interests of Rogers Television in Quebec and Maritimes territory.
