CTV announces Oscars coverage details
There are a lot more time slots to CTV's Academy Awards coverage than the big event itself this Sunday.
CTVglobemedia has announced the details of this month’s Oscars broadcast coverage. The net’s lined up 10 hours of Oscar-related programming for Sunday alone. Hosted by Jon Stewart, the 80th annual Academy Awards airs Sunday, Feb. 24 at 8:30 pm ET.
Last year’s broadcast of the 79th Annual Academy Awards on CTV peaked at almost six million viewers and reached 10.6 million Canadians, making it the most-watched television program of the year in Canada.
Starting tonight at 7 pm, eTalk charts the ‘Road to the Oscars.’ CTV’s Ben Mulroney and Fashion Television host Jeanne Beker cover Oscars Red Carpet, with Tanya Kim and Elaine ‘Lainey’ Lui reporting from a second exclusive position.
