Eight Canadians named judges for Cannes Lions
And entry deadlines - between March 7 and March 20 depending on category - are nigh.
Eight Canadians have been selected to serve on the juries at Cannes Lions 2008, the 55th International Advertising Festival, skedded for June 15-21. They are:
Paulette Arsenault, Palm Arnold Communications – Press Jury
Rico DiGiovanni, Spider Marketing Solutions – Promo Jury
Matt Shirtcliffe, Proximity-Canada – Direct Jury
Tom Murphy, Target Marketing & Communications – Radio Jury
Aaron Starkman, Zig – Film Jury
Dominique Trudeau, Taxi Montreal – Cyber Jury
Shirley Ward-Taggart, Leo Burnett/Arc – Direct Jury
Annette Warring, Genesis-Vizeum – Media Jury
Entries in the film, press and outdoor categories are due March 7. Design, direct, media, promo and radio entries are due March 14. And the deadline for Cyber, Titanium and Integrated entries is March 20.
