Workopolis, Rogers enhance B2B job searches

The online employment resource and the mediaco's publishing arm aim to help job hunters in specialized fields, and employers who need them, find each other.

Workopolis, Canada’s largest Internet recruiting and job search provider, and Rogers Publishing, the biggest publisher of consumer and business magazines in Canada, have launched the first phase of dedicated online B2B job sites, along with plans for 28 additional sites in the near future.

The deal will allow for cross-posting functionality to provide improved recruiting success for Canadian employers and an enriched online experience for the hundreds of thousands of Canadian business people who visit the sites regularly.

Covering a broad base of industry segments – thus beefing up ad opps – the newly launched job sites are: CanadianGrocer –; Benefits Canada – (and its French counterpart); Advantages –; Advisor -; Conseiller –; Healthcare Careers –; Pharmacy Gateway – (and its French counterpart); Mon Portail Pharmacie –; and Marketing Magazine

In January, Workopolis acquired Brainhunter’s North American niche job board business.

Workopolis has over 3.6 million unique visitors monthly in Canada. Rogers Publishing is a division of Rogers Media Inc. and produces the consumer magazines Maclean’s, Chatelaine and Flare.
