Halifax gets new morning show

101.3 The BOUNCE in Halifax has launched a new morning show, The Morning BOUNCE. The show airs weekdays from 5:30 am to 10 am and focuses on entertainment and pop culture.

The morning crew is led by Frankie Hollywood, with Jordan Knight and Amber (pictured). Hollywood, a native of St. Peter’s, Cape Breton, made his way back to Halifax from Victoria where he worked mornings on KOOL-FM. Knight’s latest radio rein was at HOT 103 in Winnipeg. Amber was a long-time journalist at CJCH Halifax.

CTVglobemedia’s CHUM Radio announced the Halifax station’s re-launch, and a move from the AM dial to FM, at the end of May.

The BOUNCE line-up is also ready to go. Leading the drive home is deejay Cash Connors, who was previously in Ottawa on HOT 89.9. Joining Cash weekdays from 5 pm to 6 pm is Halifax mixer R$ Smooth. Through the lunch hour is Cole Harbour native Melinda Barkhouse. Rocking the late night airwaves, from 10 pm to 2 am, is Toronto boy Adam H.

CHUM Radio also owns and operates C100FM in Halifax. CHUM operates 35 radio stations in 16 markets throughout Canada.
