CTV and Bell Mobility ramp up mobile TV
Ink-wet deal offers mobile video consumers access to an unprecedented array of Canadian and U.S. network content.
Bell Mobility subscribers with video-enabled mobile phones now have access to new and expanded CTV made-for-mobile channels with Bell Live TV.
The deal offers consumers on-demand streaming video clips from MuchMusic, MTV, TSN, The Comedy Network, FashionTelevision, etalk, CTV Newsnet, BNN and RDS.
The line-up includes MuchMusic programs such as Much on Demand and Punk’d, U.S. and Canadian MTV programming such as The Hills, Beavis and Butthead and Andy Milonakis and U.S. and Canadian Comedy Network programming such as Chappelle’s Show and The Sarah Silverman Program. The roster also includes TSN sports highlights from the CFL and NBA, analysis and discussion as well as clips from signature TSN shows like The Reporters and Off the Record, breaking stories and celebrity interviews from etalk, top stories from CTV Newsnet, financial news from BNN signature segments and French-language sports highlights from RDS.
Made-for-mobile, linear versions of MuchMusic, MTV, The Comedy Network and FashionTelevision Channel are also available on Bell’s Live TV service, where mobile users can ‘tune in’ at any time to see programs on the channels.
