Facebook installs Canadian sales unit
The first step in expanding ad sales north of the border has begun with the appointment of Louise Clements.
Facebook has just appointed its first head of sales in Canada. As of next Monday, Louise Clements will be setting up and managing Canadian ad sales operations in Toronto in a move that’s pegged as a ‘key step’ in Facebook’s Canada ad biz.
Prior to Facebook, Clements was the VP of digital properties at Rogers Media where she led strategic development, revenue and audience growth for all Roger Media’s consumer brands, following several digi-marketing stints at AOL, Sympatico and Bell Globemedia.
