Here are the national champs (for all persons 2+; all times ET) according to BBM/Nielsen for April 27 – May 3, 2009:

Monday: House on CTV at 8 pm attracted the largest audience for the night with 1.362 million viewers. (Two and a Half Men on CTV was most-watched the previous week with 1.362 million viewers.)

Tuesday: American Idol performance show on CTV at 8 pm had 2.248 million viewers as the second most-popular program week. (The talent show won over 2.306 million viewers and was in first place the previous week.)

Wednesday: American Idol results show on CTV at 9 pm is back with a vengeance as the highest-rated program of the week with 2.205 million viewers. (It ousts Criminal Minds on CTV, which was the champ the previous week with 2.104 million viewers.)

Thursday: Grey’s Anatomy on CTV at 9 pm had the largest audience for the night with 2.159 million viewers. (The doc drama was also most-watched the previous week with 2.054 million viewers.)

Friday: Flashpoint on CTV at 9 pm was the highest-rated program of the night with 1.365 million viewers. (Flashpoint was also the most-popular show the previous week with 1.277 million viewers.)

Saturday: NHL Playoffs Round 2 bumps Saturday to a top-10 TV-viewing night with 1.879 million viewers, the highest for the night. (CTV Evening News Weekend Edition was most watched the previous week with 1.008 million viewers.)

Sunday: Amazing Race on CTV at 8 pm topped the ratings for the night with 1.986 million viewers. (Amazing Race was also the most-watched show the previous Sunday, with 2.070 million viewers.)
