Alliance Films asks Dose.ca crowd to craft a film character
A new contest helps target urbanites via web, print and Canwest broadcast cross-promotions.
Dose.ca is helping Alliance Films reach young urbanites by promoting a new contest through the site, as part of a larger campaign that also includes broadcast and print creative across Canwest media properties running until Sept. 25.
Running through Oct. 16, talented amateurs are invited to create and design their own character and biography for the new movie 9, launching Wednesday. Submissions at Dose.ca/contests are being judged by Starz Animation staff – the animation studio for the movie – who will be looking for creativity, storyline, aesthetic and overall originality. The grand prize winner gets a two-week internship at Starz Animation Studios in Toronto and a Dell Studio laptop. In addition, the contest will be promoted with POP materials in over 300 Mr. Sub locations across Canada and through the Dell Canada website at www.dell.ca/9.
Dose.ca, which also offers channel takeovers, microsites and other customizable sponsorship opps, is currently reporting a 30% year-over-year growth.
