Sleep Country blankets Toronto: Media Monitors radio rankings: Jan. 11 to 17, 2010
Sleep Country isn’t snoozing when it comes to its Toronto radio ad buys. The Canadian mattress retailer repeated its chart-topping spot in Ontario’s capital city, according to the Media Monitors spending rankings for the week of Jan. 11 to Jan. 17, 2010.
Shifting up five spots, The Heart & Stroke Lottery beat other advertising contenders to grab #2, rerouting Porter Airlines to #3 in the process. Other Toronto movers and shakers this week include Global TV in #5, up 361 places from the week prior, and Sunwing Vacations, up 51 slots to #9.
In Montreal, AlarmForce, The Brick and Porter Airlines repeated their 1-2-3 podium finishes from last week, with Hyundai’s 140-point leap to #4 hot on their heels. IKEA delivered an impressive 312-position leap to #5, while retirement community Les Residences Soleil moved from #15 to #8 and discount department store Brault & Martineau rose from #16 to #9.
