Pizza Pizza takes Toronto: Media Monitors radio rankings: Feb. 15 to 21, 2010
The pizza chain peppers Toronto radio market with ad buys. In Montreal, Hyundai is still parked in first.
Pizza Pizza dished up another #1 as the major radio ad buyer in the Toronto market, according to spending rankings for the week of Feb. 15 to Feb. 21.
Wrapping up with an additional push this past Sunday was the Canadian International AutoShow, moving up four slots to claim #2, while Sears also leaped 11 spots to land at #3.
Canadian Tire motored up 11 spots to claim #5 – falling just shy of last week’s #1 winner, Telus, at #4. The only big debut this week was Porter Airlines, climbing to #6.
In Montreal, Hyundai maintained its pole position, with the Government of Quebec snaking up three spots to #2 and Dormez-Vous down another notch to #3.
Sociaux appeared out of nowhere to debut at #6 while Porter Airlines took a 299-position flight up to #7. Ford also debuted at #9.
