Corus gets sweet with cupcakes, bikinis

Ashley Paige may struggle as a businesswoman, but Corus Entertainment is betting she’ll be just fine as a reality TV star.

Ashley Paige: Bikini or Bust, which debuts on CosmoTV Monday April 5, follows the bikini designer as she struggles to run her new LA shop despite having an A-list clientele. Sponsorship opps for the show – booked for 12 30-minute episodes – include in-show fashion tips, regular on-air promo, five-second billboards, lower-third mobile calls-to-action and inventory on the CosmoTV website.

Over on W Network, The Cupcake Girls will sweeten the April schedule starting Sunday April 4 at 9 p.m. The new 13-part reality show follows childhood best friends Heather White and Lori Joyce as they expand their Vancouver-based cupcake business. The series will focus on the girls’ personal lives: White is a recovering alcoholic turned triathlete while Lori pursues her dream of having a family.

‘As simple and sweet as cupcakes may seem, our audience will be amazed by the behind-the-scenes drama and comedy that goes on in Lori and Heather’s cupcake world over the 13 episodes of this series,’ a release on the show states.

Promotional clips of the series can be found online at WNetwork.com. Both shows will be promoted on their respective channels and websites.
