The Bay tries on the top spot: Media Monitors radio rankings, April 19 to 25, 2010

 

The Bay moved up four spots to settle in the #1 spot in Toronto, according to Spot Ten Canada rankings for April 19 to 25. Meanwhile, Pizza Pizza and Ontario Chevrolet Dealers made the biggest splash with their radio ad buys, debuting on the rankings in the #2 and #3 spots, respectively. Porter Airlines dropped from #1 to #4, while Kia Motors moved from #2 the previous week to #6 on the ranks.

In Montreal, Via Rail Canada, which last week was offering 60% off for train travel to Canada’s major destinations, debuted on the charts as #1. It bumped AlarmForce to #3 while the Home Depot jumped 12 spots to settle at #2. The Bay, meanwhile, increased its radio spend just slightly in the English Montreal market, rising from #5 to #4 for the week.
