Stanley Cup draws in 4.077 million
The Stanley Cup postgame on CBC has 2.787 billion viewers analyzing the Blackhawks win. The Big Bang Theory tops Monday.
Here are the top-ranked shows in Canada (for all persons 2+; all times ET), according to BBM, for June 7 to June 13, 2010.
Monday: Big Bang Theory is back on top with 1.644 million viewers on CTV at 8 p.m. The Stanley Cup Finals on CBC had 2.880 million viewers the previous week.
Tuesday: Global’s Glee finale at 9 p.m. attracted 2.521 million viewers. The show, which debuted last fall, had 1.758 million viewers the previous week.
Wednesday: The Stanley Cup Finals on CBC at 8 p.m. won the week with 4.077 million viewers, increasing its fan base from the previous week by almost 1.5 million, as 2.880 million had watched the game last Wednesday.
Thursday, Friday: CTV Evening News dominates both nights with 1.348 million viewers. It beat out So You Think You Can Dance Canada, which was most-watched the previous week with 1.575 million viewers on Thursday. The Stanley Cup Finals on CBC had 2.880 million viewers the previous week.
Saturday, Sunday: The FIFA World Cup on CBC at 2:15 p.m. was the most popular program over the weekend with 1.187 million viewers. The Stanley Cup Finals on CBC were watched by 2.880 million Canadians the previous Saturday, and CTV National News was bumped out of its top spot on Sunday where it had 1.079 million viewers.
MiC‘s weekly BBM update incorrectly stated that the Glee finale aired on the week of May 31. The finale of Glee aired on Global this week, on June 8.
