Tim’s tops TO: Media Monitors radio rankings, July 19 to 25, 2010
The QSR buys big in Toronto, while Alarm Force is back on top in Montreal.
By the look of the lineups at Tim Horton’s every day, the crazy hot weather in Toronto has done nothing to dampen the locals’ thirst for coffee, and the QSR has been boosting awareness with a big radio buy, topping the Toronto rankings for the week of July 19 to 25, 2010.
With Tim Horton’s at #1, the other top-two spots were filled by brands familiar to local radio listeners in the city: Sleep Country Canada at #2 and Spence Diamonds at #3. BMO also made a bit of jump from #21 the week prior to #4, and The Home Depot rounded out the top five at #5.
In Montreal, Alarm Force and Bell TV switched spots, with the former at #1 and the latter at #2. The Home Depot rounded out the top three. Making new appearances on the list for the week of July 19 to 25 were Reno-Depot at #5, Le SuperClub Videotron at #8 and Mitsubishi Motors at #10.
