Forzani Group launches digi network
The sports retailer has installed a network of in-store digital screens in its Sports Experts and Hockey Experts banners. Ad opps are open to outside brands.
The Forzani Group has launched a network of digital screens in its Sports Experts and Hockey Experts stores.
The category-dominating retailer, which operates a franchise of 229 stores nationwide, announced the debut of the network today. The deployment includes 80 screens across eight stores. The screens will primarily promote in-store and Forzani brand messaging, but sales are open to outside brands as well, such as Forzani’s vast network of suppliers, Maxime Bugeaud, marketing director, Groupe Viva, confirmed to MiC this morning.
Montreal-based Groupe Viva has entered a ‘long term’ deal with Forzani to handle sales, as well as installation, management and programming, Bugeaud says, declining to comment on the length of the deal.
Calgary-based Forzani Group’s retail brands include Athlete’s World, Sport Chek, Sport Mart, Atmosphere, Nevada Bob’s, S3, National Sports, Fitness Source, Sports Experts and Hockey Experts.
