Grant Sign Group rebrands and expands
Newly named Media Resources International, the company now has offices in Calgary, Edmonton and NYC.
The Grant Sign Group has changed its name to Media Resources International (MRI) and expanded its presence with new offices in Calgary, Edmonton and New York City.
The name change is meant to express to customers that the company has grown beyond its original function, and that the main business and its sister companies – Grant Sign Imaging, Rite Sign International, Media Maintenance and Grant Sign Service – are now considered a single entity, Steve Gallow, a principal partner and co-founder, tells MiC.
What started out in 1967 as a sign installation business with six employees in Toronto has grown into a larger concern, manufacturing, producing and maintaining increasingly complicated projects, including LED, digital and 3D signs, and street furniture. The company now has six offices and 115 employees.
MRI’s biggest client is Pattison, but it also does work for various ad agencies and replaced all the Dominion signs with Metro signs when the grocery stores rebranded.
More office openings and product announcements are forthcoming, Gallow says.
