Big Bang Theory takes the week: BBM Canada: April 4 to 10, 2011

Dancing with the Stars two-steps into #2 for the week.

Here are the top-ranked shows in Canada (for all persons 2+; all times ET), according to BBM, for April 4 to 10, 2011:

Monday: Dancing with the Stars at 8 p.m. on CTV samba’d into the number one spot for the week with 2.634 million viewers making it the number two most watched show of the week. The numbers for April 4 are slightly lower than the 2.670 million it brought in the previous week.

Tuesday: NCIS at 8 p.m. on Global came out on top for the night with 2.228 million viewers for the night, beating out the results night of Dancing with the Stars at 9 p.m. on CTV, which brought in 2.058 million viewers.

Wednesday: American Idol at 8 p.m. on CTV crooned its way to the top for the night with 2.543 million viewers, making it the #3 most watched show of the week.

Thursday: Big Bang Theory at 8 p.m. on CTV pulled in 3.219 million viewers, making it the most watched show for the night and also the #1 show for the week.

Friday: C.S.I. New York at 9 p.m. on CTV was #1 with a bullet for the night with 1.883 million viewers. This was the second week in a row C.S.I. New York has come out on top for the night, besting traditional Friday-night winner the CTV National News.

Saturday
: H.N.I.C. Game #1 at 7 p.m. on CBC must have one heck of a playoff beard going with the #1 streak it has had with Saturday night viewers, bringing in 1.619 million for the night.

Sunday: “Congratulations Amazing Race 18 at 8 p.m. on CTV. You have the most viewers for the night with 2.436 million. The bad news? You’re still in the race next week.”
