The Comedy Network reveals summer sked

The Bell Media-owned network’s summer schedule includes two Canadian productions.

The Comedy Network has announced its lineup of new and returning shows for the summer, including two new Canadian shows.

First up is the Canadian fast-paced sketch comedy series, PicnicFace which will begin airing in August. The show mixes contemporary animation and sketch comedy.

Also new to the network is the homegrown comedy horror series Todd & The Book of Pure Evil, set to air Sundays at 9 p.m.

Rounding out the new additions to the Comedy Network this summer is Jon Benjamin has a Van, making an appearance on Wednesdays at 10 p.m.

Special premieres for the summer schedule include the Roast of Kid Rock with the network still deciding on a time and date, as well as the Canadian Comedy Awards on August 24 at 10 p.m.
