Pharmaceutical company Novartis has announced Starcom has won its global media business, including the Canadian office beginning in April 2012.

The account, which was most recently with MEC, is worth more than $600 million worldwide, according to an article on Advertising Age.

MEC Canada has had a busy few months, with the loss of Novartis and Sony Ericsson in Canada being balanced with recent wins from Marriott and Dare Foods.
