Starcom promotes two

Robin Hassan and Ray Reid take on new digital roles at the company.

Starcom MediaVest Group has announced the promotion of Robin Hassan and Ray Reid, both becoming VPs of digital at the company.

Hassan joined Starcom in 2009 as director of digital solutions working with clients including Kellogg’s and TD. She will be responsible for leading the shop’s Centre of Excellence in social and mobile media in her new role.

Reid also most recently worked as director of digital solutions at MediaVest with clients including Ally, Dyson and Capital One, and will work with the Centre of Excellence in biddable media in the new role.

The Centres of Excellence designate teams to specialize in topics within the digital sphere, so there is always someone on top of the latest and greatest in each area of the field, Bruce Neve, CEO at Starcom MediaVest Group tells MiC.

Neve says the promotions reflect the growing importance of digital at the company.

“The promotions reflect an ongoing recognition of the importance of digital, it is the ignition point of everything we do,” he says. “It is the connector, the hub for the consumer with the experiences we are developing. We want to continue to attract and retain the greatest digital talent we can.”
