Undercover Boss Canada makes a big reveal

The reality show's Thursday night debut snagged the highest number of viewers across all Canadian English specialty networks for women aged 25 to 54.

While Undercover Boss Canada is a show based on undisclosed information, its Canadian reception is no secret. The W Network announced that 485,000 (2+) viewers tuned in to watch its premiere episode Thursday night at 9 p.m., according to BBM Canada numbers provided by Corus Entertainment.

According to the Corus Entertainment-owned network, the show was the highest-rated for the day across all Canadian English specialty networks for women aged 25 to 54.

The hour-long reality show, based on the US format, follows executives and CEOs of companies such as Pizza Pizza, Cineplex Entertainment and Second Cup as they secretly infiltrate the companies as bottom level employees.

There will also be an encore presentation of the premiere episode tonight at 9 p.m. on the W Network for viewers who want to play catch up.
