Global Television adds talent to Montreal and Maritimes morning shows

Shaw Media has added new talent to its new Global News Montreal and Maritimes morning shows.
In Montreal, Richard Dagenais and ex-CTV Montreal News reporter Camille Ross will host the new morning show, joined by weather specialist Jessica Laventure.
Their Global Morning News show will eventually compete in the city’s English language market against a morning news show on City Montreal, from Rogers Media after its rebranding of newly-acquired CJNT TV is completed.
Elsewhere, the Global News Maritimes morning show has added Crystal Garrett, Paul Brothers and Jill Chappell.
Shaw Media has added five new morning shows countrywide in the wake of acquiring the TV assets of the former Canwest Global Communications Corp., including offerings in Winnipeg, Saskatoon and Regina.
