CBC shifts Mr. D and The Ron James Show to Wednesdays

The CBC is shifting the comedies Mr. D and The Ron James Show to Wednesday nights, from Monday to give them a better shot during the winter schedule.
The pubcaster is filling the Monday hole with an encore presentation of Dragons’ Den at 8 p.m., followed by new episodes of Murdoch Mysteries at 9 p.m.
And Mr. D, which pulled in 495,000 viewers last week, goes to Wednesdays at 8 p.m., followed by Ron James at 8:30 p.m. after pulling in 548,000 viewers during its last outing.
Arctic Air will follow Wednesday nights at 9 p.m.
CBC spokesman Chuck Thompson says the early winter schedule moves represented a “minor tweak.”
