Toronto Star tops in TO: NADbank

The Torstar paper pulled in the most readers both in print and online for the city according to the latest numbers.

According to the latest NADbank numbers, which measured 83 Canadian newspapers and two Detroit papers in 52 markets across Canada in 2012, 8.7 million Canadians read a print newspaper every day and 3.4 million read one online, for a daily total of 10.6 million.

Over the past two years, mobile-only readership of newspapers has grown to 18%, and readers using both personal computers and mobile devices to access news dailies has grown to 2%.
