On the web at Bigbrothercanada.ca, viewers can watch live feeds, single episodes and exclusive Big Brother Canada content. They can also play the Power Play game, in which viewers predict what will happen next in the series, like who will win Head of Household and who will be evicted. Players earn points by making correct predictions and by sharing on Facebook and Twitter. They can then spend those points to influence what happens on the show. The game was created with Secret Location and Insight Productions.
Big Brother Canada airs on Slice three times a week, with Big Brother Canada After Dark airing seven days a week from 2 a.m. to 5 a.m. (EST). More than 2.7 million Canadians tune in to the show weekly, according to BBM Canada data provided by Shaw Media.
Shaw Media also said its average audience on Slice has increased by 77% with adults 25 to 54 since Big Brother Canada launched, and Slice.ca has received an average of 2.5 million page views to Big Brother Canada content per week, according to Adobe Site Catalyst numbers.
“Big Brother Canada has been shattering records since day one and has quickly become a top series this season. Canadians have embraced the wholly interactive experience, engaging heavily with the series across all platforms,” said Shaw Media SVP content Barb Williams in a statement.
