BlogTO launches Patio Guide
The online and mobile tool is sponsored by Bud Light Lime Mojito and helps users locate Toronto bars and restaurants with patios.
BlogTO is looking to help Torontonians heat things up this summer with the launch of its new Patio Guide, which is sponsored by Labatt’s Bud Light Lime Mojito.
Targeted at adults aged 20 to 35, the guide is available online and in app form for Android and iPhone. It functions as a search tool, allowing users to find Toronto bars and restaurants with patios based on criteria like location, patio size, cost and the types of beer served, among others. It also provides users with a detailed description of the bar or restaurant.
Labatt will be the exclusive advertiser on the app throughout the summer and, on top of Bud Light Lime Mojito, it will also look to promote brands like Bud Light, Budweiser and Alexander Keith’s.
The brewer is activating with mobile and digital banner ads, as well as interstitial ads within the app. Additionally, the Patio Guide features an extra tool that allows users to search specifically for establishments that serve its products.
Tim Shore, publisher, BlogTO, tells MiC that BlogTO launched the Patio Guide because it felt there was a lack of resources designed specifically to help Torontonians locate patios for the summer.
