In a TIFF: ET Canada lights up the red carpet
The entertainment show's TIFF coverage is being sponsored by brands like Russian Standard Vodka, which has billboards in each episode.
With TIFF-mania in the air, ET Canada is bringing its viewers all the latest news from the red carpet.
The show, which airs on Shaw’s Global nightly at 7:30 p.m., will offer coverage of film premieres and the red carpet arrivals of the stars, as well as interviews with actors and filmmakers and coverage of after-parties and other TIFF-related events across its TV, digital and social platforms.
Sholeh Fabbri, executive producer, ET Canada, tells MiC that this year the show is expanding its digital coverage of the festival, streaming all the red carpet events online and splitting them with Globalnews.ca. She adds that it’s also the first time it has a dedicated online team leading the digital coverage.
ET Canada‘s TIFF coverage is sponsored by Russian Standard Vodka, which is the official sponsor of the show’s red carpet coverage and will have billboards in each episode.
Colgate is also sponsoring the coverage through its Colgate Optic White brand, as ET Canada correspondent Sangita Patel, who is reporting from TIFF for the first time, documents her experiences through a series of sponsored selfie stories.
Meanwhile, ET Canada‘s gifting suite lounge, where it interviews celebs, will be sponsored by brands like Dermalogic, Moroco Chocolat, Yogurty’s, The Cupcake Shoppe and Moët & Chandon. Moët will gather celeb signatures on its magnum champagne bottles to auction off for charity.
