AOL Canada reworks sales structure
New roles for Dana Toering and Susan Byng as the company updates its sales model to focus more of its efforts on the supply side.
AOL Canada has updated its sales executive structure, moving Dana Toering and Susan Byng into new roles so the company can focus more of its efforts on the supply side of the business.
Toering will take on a new role as head of partner revenue and development, leading the publisher and partner side of AOL Canada. He has been with AOL Canada since 2010, working as head of sales and business development.
“Most of the focus at AOL Canada has been on the demand side of the business and we realized we need to get in on the supply and publisher side of the business,” Toering tells MiC. “This is an opportunity to build out a new piece for AOL that will have significant revenue implications for us.”
Also getting a new role is Susan Byng, who joined AOL Canada as its head of specialist sales in early 2014. Byng is taking on a new job as head of advertising revenue where she will lead the AOL Canada account executive and sales specialist teams and servicing the agency and advertiser side of the business.
Vivian Ip will be remaining in her role as head of agency development.
