With the NHL Playoffs well underway on Sportsnet and the CBC, TSN is going big on this weekend’s other sporting attraction, the welterweight title fight between Floyd “Money” Mayweather and Manny “Pac-Man” Pacquiao.

The matchup, happening Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas is being called the fight of the century. And, luckily for Canada’s PPV operators, there aren’t any NHL playoff games scheduled on Saturday night to compete with it.

Looking to take advantage of the hype – and all those crowded multi-screen bars – TSN has amped up its schedule with pre-fight coverage, including today’s official weigh-in at 6 p.m. on TSN2.

Sportscentre‘s Darren Dutchyshen and analyst Russ Anber have been on-site in Las Vegas to deliver the blow-by-blow analysis of the fight all week long, and TSN has been airing the Showtime-produced Inside Mayweather/Pacquiao all week long on its channels. The last episodes of the series air today at 7 p.m. on TSN4 and 5 and 11 p.m. on TSN.
