m2 is building up its communication strategies and broadcast teams by adding three new positions. The media agency has hired two fresh recruits and has welcomed back a former employee to fill the new roles.

Scott Morris returns to m2 as a manager of communication strategies with Christine Knechtel joining m2 as manager as well. Bonnie Ketcheson is a manager on the broadcast side of the company.

Morris’s return to m2 is attributed to his significant experience with auto brands (Ford and Jaguar, for example), according to Leeanne Comish, president, m2. He has been tasked with handling the company’s General Motors Ontario Delaers Association account as well as Sky Zone.

Knechtel, who has worked in previous positions, in developing media plans for brands that include Tim Hortons, Samsung and Procter & Gamble, is expected to bring innovative ideas in planning her new portfolio, which is RBC Bank.

Meanwhile, Ketcheson brings 10 years of negotiating expertise and broadcast experience to the table. She is charged will handling the following accounts: RBC Bank, Dairy Farmers of Canada and WIND Mobile.

All three have moved from competing agencies. Morris was previously senior media manger, strategy at Mindshare; Knechtel was connections manager at Starcom MediaVest; and Ketcheson was broadcast supervisor at OMD.
