NCIS wins the night for Global

With ratings in, the Shaw Communications channel opens its fall season with a well-received slate of shows.

Global’s Fall Tuesday programming got off to a rocking start as over 3.3 million viewers (2+) watched its 8 to 11 p.m. line-up for season premieres of old-favourites, NCIS and NCIS: New Orleans, and new show Limitless. 

Some 2.2 million viewers (2+) watched the season 13 premiere of Global’s NCIS at 8 p.m. on Tuesday night and more than 1.6 million (2+) tuned in to NCIS: New Orleans’s season premiere in the 9 p.m. slot. The night also featured the premiere of the new series, Limitless, a fast-paced drama, which drew in an audience of 1.6 million viewers (2+).

The ratings from Numeris also showed Limitless did well with Global’s target millennial demo as well as with a broader 18 to 49 demo.

The fall seasons’ schedule for this evening includes Survivor at 8 p.m. and the season finale of Big Brother at 9:30 p.m.
