Index Exchange bolsters product team

The company has brought Drew Bradstock over from Google as SVP of product.

Ad tech company Index Exchange has added to its product team, hiring Drew Bradstock as SVP of product.

Based out of the Toronto office, Bradstock will be responsible for driving Index Exchange’s product roadmap and strategy going forward. The addition of Bradstock to the team marks the formal build-out of a product division at the company, which hired 100 people last year, primarily to staff its engineering department.

“Critically important to that function is staying close to our media company clients, and helping to understand how their needs are changing and evolving, and innovating the platform to reflect the ever changing marketplace,” said Andrew Casale, president and CEO, Index Exchange.

Bradstock comes to Index Exchange from Google, where he worked for over five years as group product manager, and was responsible for Google’s ad exchange.

He says the move to Index Exchange is exciting for him because it gets him back to a company with a smaller feel, and allows him to focus more on helping publishers grow their business.

Last week Index Exchange publicly launched a private exchange with Bell Media, marking the first time the media co has delved into programmatic.
