Sears buys the top: Media Monitors
The retailer purchased the most radio advertising in Toronto for the week of Feb. 27 to March 5, while furniture brand Brault & Martineau took the top spot in Montreal.
Sears was declared the top radio advertising buyer in Toronto for the week of Feb. 27 to March 5, 2017, according to the latest report from Media Monitors. This is the first time the retailer has landed in the top 10 since the last week of 2016.
Rogers climbed to the #2 spot, up from #3 in the previous week, while Fido Internet jumped to #3 from #12.
Closing out the top five were new entrant Kelsey’s at #4 and Spence Diamonds at #5 (up from #34).
In Montreal, furniture brand Brault & Martineau completed its gradual climb to the top at #1 (up from #2 last week and #4 the week before). Window and door maker Fenplast also rose, coming in at #2 (up from #4). TSN made a big jump to #3 from #67, RE/MAX rose to #4 from #7 and Gibbys took the fifth spot (up from #10).
