ICUC creates new C-suite position

Jaime Stein has joined Dentsu Aegis Network social agency ICUC.social as its first chief client officer. He will report to president and CEO Keith Bilous. Stein has more than a decade of experience in the fields of content strategy, social media and marketing. He joins ICUC from Hootsuite, where he spent four years moving up the ranks, eventually taking the position of global director, enterprise client strategy.

Tanya Iliakis moves to MiQ

Former Oath account director Tanya Iliakis has moved to MiQ (formerly Media iQ) as senior sales director. Her hiring is part of MiQ’s expansion into Western Canada. She will be headquartered in Vancouver and will be responsible for introducing MiQ’s marketing intelligence solutions to new strategic partners.

Quebecor Content bolsters film development leadership

Quebecor Content has named Louis Pearson director of film development, a newly created role. Pearson will be charged with developing feature films and supporting original Quebec production. He’ll report to Christine Maestracci, senior director of acquisitions. Pearson previously served as director of specialty channels and acquisitions at Groupe V Media, where he led the programming of its Max and MusiquePlus channels and acquired content for its family of channels. This comes one month after Quebecor Content announced that it would begin investing in locally produced, original features.
