Cue Digital adds to sales team

Alexandra Rabbitte (pictured) has joined the growing team at Cue Digital in the position of influencer enterprise sales. Rabbitte, who got her start in political and government relations, moved to media and advertising in 2016, working with dHz Media and then Publicis (where her clients included Citi Retail Bank, Citi Credit Cards and Dairy Queen). In her position at Cue, Rabbitte will be responsible for selling the company’s influencer marketing platform on a subscription basis to clients and PR agencies.

Noise promotes from within

Vancouver-based digital agency Noise Digital has promoted Cornelius Van Heerden to director of technology at its subsidiary, Fastloop. Fastloop is Noise’s media and consumer data platform, which helps brands integrate data into marketing plans. Van Heerden has been with Noise since January, when he joined as a database architect. He has a long history working in data sciences, working with Companion ICT as a data scientist for eight years. His new position at Noise will focus on creating new products, using data insights and creating advanced dashboards and machine learning algorithms for clients.

Bell updates its top leadership

Mirko Bibic is the new COO of BCE and Bell Canada. Bibic’s leadership will largely focus on Bell’s consumer-facing business units (such as Bell Mobility and Bell Residential). He has been with Bell since 2004 and has overseen numerous major moves on the media side, including Bell’s acquisition of Astral Media in 2013. The company has also appointed Wade Oosterman as vice-chair. Oosterman has been an executive with Bell for more than a decade, and will serve in a senior advisory and oversight role on the team.
