The Big Bang Theory took the lead once again, while The Good Doctor and Young Sheldon also pulled in good numbers.

The Big Bang Theory continues to dominate on the TV charts. The CTV comedy took the highest AMA (2+) of all single-night programs according to the latest Numeris charts, which measure the week of Oct. 8 to 14.

Pulling in an average minute audience of 3.42 million (down slightly from 3.71 million the previous week), Big Bang was followed by two other CTV hits, The Good Doctor (2.74 million) and Young Sheldon (2.5 million). Rounding out the top-five were two Global blockbusters, new series New Amsterdam (2.44 million) and mainstay Survivor (2.12 million).

Trends differed slightly across Anglophone markets; Montreal boasted an all-CTV top-five, Edmonton opted for more action content (with programs such as NCIS, Criminal Minds and MacGyver coming in strong) and Vancouver favoured Global shows such as New Amsterdam, FBI and Survivor in its top five. Scripted drama took the Francophone market, with SRC’s Unité 9 taking the top in French Quebec.
