Olive Network doubles for second time

Already one of Canada's largest online ad networks, the company has announced 17 new hires.

Doubling the size of its team for the second time in just over a year, Toronto-HQ’d Olive Canada Network has announced 17 additions to its staff, further consolidating its status as one of the largest online ad orgs in the country.

‘Eighteen months ago, we started with just five employees and are now a 39-person firm,’ says general manager Simon Jennings, who adds that ‘the growth speaks not only to the quality of our people but to the growing importance of the online audience to the Canadian advertising market.’

Olive offers media buyers a one-stop solution for reaching engaged Canadian online consumers across such sites as iVillage.com, cyberpresse.ca, CNET.com, Maxim Online, toronto.com, tetesaclaques.tv and thestar.com. Its performance network, Olive Brand Response, comprising over 2,000 websites and 18 channels, provides clients with a customizable way to achieve measured objectives.

The new hires are:

In Montreal: Nathalie Boucher, director sales and marketing, formerly with Bell Actimedia and Sympatico-Lycos and Sympatico.ca, and currently chairman of the Quebec Board of the Interactive Advertising Bureau of Canada; and former Cyberpresse staffer Elise Hofer, sales producer.
