Duel skedded to return April 4

Ten new episodes of the high-stakes game show, which drew a pretty decent number of eyeballs in its December preview, will fill CTV's 9 pm Wednesday time slot.

Season two of Duel, the anything-goes game show, will return to CTV on April 9 at 9 pm EST for a 10-episode run.

Hosted by ESPN’s Mike Greenberg (pictured), the series features head-to-head matches between contestants who must use all their wits to advance through a series of duels toward a $500,000 jackpot.

This time around, there’s a twist. As with season one, each trivia-savvy contestant who wins a duel must pick his or her next opponent from three potential competitors, about whom very limited info is disclosed. For season two, the challengers will be allowed to be deliberately deceptive about their qualifications.

When Duel premiered last December for a six-episode preview, it averaged 593,000 viewers 2+.
