Could ordinary folks really do worse than the professionals at predicting what the skies are about to deliver?
Answers will be revealed this weekend, when – as part of its sponsorship of Toronto’s Luminato Festival – the Weather Network will invite the public to take a shot at presenting the weather in front of a green screen just like the one in the net’s own Oakville, Ont., studios.
Weather presentations will be emailed to each participant for sharing with friends and posting on websites such as YouTube. And on-air Weather Network personalities Anne-Marie Sweeney, Karen Johnson and meteorologist Chris Scott will be on hand to offer tips and advice.
