Transcontinental Media plans fall online strategy

The digital team is working on more than 50 projects this summer, including fall relaunches for its online brands and at least one new website.

Montreal-based Transcontinental Media is planning fall online relaunches for several of its major brands, as well as a new site for More, the young mag aimed at 40-plus women, at More.ca.

On the list of sites pegged for fall relaunches are ElleCanada.com, ElleQuebec.com, StyleatHome.com and CanadianGardening.com. The company claims that new features for the sites will enhance the brands for both users and advertisers (the latter group will see an expanded inventory). Marketing opps in development may tie in with UGC, widgets, Facebook apps, microsites and mobile solutions.

The company’s digital media team is spending the summer searching for new tools to boost traffic for its roster of online brands. Almost 50 projects are in the works, some custom designed for advertisers (a French-language preview is live at www.AtelierRenoDeco.com).
