Shopping centres go digital

Ivanhoe Cambridge launches a digital mall network offering advertisers mass-reach local and time-specific messaging in partnership with Pattison and Onestop.

A new digital advertising network is being installed in shopping malls across the country, with high-def LCD screens featuring ads, real-time and local community messaging tools expected to reach over 365 million impressions per year. The new ICTV network offers advertisers mass-reach local and time-specific messaging options.

ICTV is a new joint venture between Pattison Outdoor Advertising and Toronto-based out-of-home digital media company Onestop Media Group. The new digital mall network is being installed across Ivanhoe Cambridge’s Canada-wide shopping mall portfolio, including 70 regional shopping centres, with more than 44 million square feet of retail space. The Montreal-based global property developer and investor is a subsidiary of national fund manager Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec. Last year, Ivanhoe Cambridge’s assets reached $13.4 billion.
